Melissa Kassens, Staff Reporter
Melissa is in her last semester as a Junior and in her second semester writing for The Mirror. Melissa graduated from Cedarburg High School in 2002, moved to Colorado to be a wrangler at Elkhorn Lodge in Estes Park then moved back home in 2003 to resume her role in healthcare. While raising three kids and working full time as an Office Manager, Melissa decided to go back to her core passions of writing and enrolled at Lakeland as a Creative Writing Major and Psychology Minor. Melissa looks forward to graduating in 2024 to pursue her writing career and enter the publishing world to help others publish their own works.
