We value the input of our readers and welcome your suggestions for potential news stories, features, exciting events, and more. Your insights help us stay connected to the Lakeland community and ensure that we’re covering the topics that matter most to you.

Guidelines for Submission:

Relevance: Please ensure that your story idea is relevant to our readership and aligns with the focus areas of The Mirror. We cover a wide range of topics including on-campus and community events, human interest stories, arts and culture, business, technology, and more. Topics should matter to the student body of Lakeland University.

Originality: We prioritize original story ideas that have not been extensively covered already. If your idea has already been widely reported, please provide a fresh angle or new information that makes the story different.

Accuracy: While we welcome creative ideas, it’s essential that all submissions are factually accurate and supported by credible sources whenever possible. Please include any relevant background information or context.

Clarity: Include key details such as the central theme or angle, potential sources or interview subjects, relevant locations, and any supporting information that strengthens your pitch.

To submit your story idea, email us at [email protected] or reach out to the current Editor-in-Chief. Be sure to include “Story Idea Submission” in the subject line to ensure that your message is reviewed. We review all submissions carefully and will follow up if we decide to pursue your idea further.

Thank you for being part of the Lakeland community and helping us tell the stories that matter most.
