Muskie Extravaganza

Lakeland thrives in providing events for students on and off campus to attend. On April 22, after a hiatus due to the pandemic and a smaller event hosted last year due to rain, the Muskie Extravaganza is back on in full swing this year! Events taking place include a meltdown attraction, mechanical bull and ninja wall available from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. near the campus center. There will be food trucks and D.J. Zel will play from 9:00 p.m. – Midnight by the apartments. The extravaganza will be held rain or shine with events being moved in the fieldhouse should weather not cooperate.

Campus Life Department organized this event to help relieve stress and celebrate the end of the academic year. Rachel Pagel, a sophomore, said, “Lakeland events like the extravaganza gives students a chance to celebrate.” Not only does Lakeland offer fun events for students, but great opportunities for students to get involved with their campus. Edge said, “I would like the Muskie Extravaganza to be a student-led event in the future.”

Edge also shared that on April 23, the A.L.A.S will have a party in the Gould Commons.
