Danielle’s Top Five: How to get ahead this semester

Danielle Livingston, Executive Editor

  1. Get a head start

Plan ahead how you will procrastinate that huge project that costs you 50 percent of your grade.

  1. Get plenty of sleep

Everyone knows you need sleep to function well during the day. That said, sleep through that 8 a.m. class (it’s for the good of your education, after all).

  1. Eat healthy

Like sleep, what you eat changes how you will feel and how you will function this semester. Try making a wrap salad. With lots of beans. Cheese. Hamburger meat. Salsa. A burrito, eat a burrito.

  1. Manage your time

Finally make that schedule you’ve been dying to create. (So you know Netflix time is from noon to 8 p.m. and homework is for 8 p.m. to 8:01 p.m.)

  1. Get your friends on board

Create a support system of buddies to help you on this journey. They can help you pick which Netflix shows to watch while you guzzle down that “wrap salad” (let’s be real, you’ll be eating a burrito).
