There are various events taking place on campus this week. Here’s the weekly roundup:

Monday, Dec. 5—

  • 6 p.m.—Finals Countdown—John Esch Library—Prepare for finals by participating in study sessions and activities.

Tuesday, Dec. 6—

  • 10 a.m.—FAFSA Assistance—The Daily Grind—Come get help from the Financial Aid Office on your FAFSA till 2 p.m.
  • 11 a.m.—Relaxation Station—1862 Lounge—Come take a quick break from your busy day.
  • 6 p.m.—Finals Countdown—John Esch Library—Prepare for finals by participating in study sessions and activities.
  • 7 p.m.—Convocation: Donate Life—Bradley Theatre—Learn about organ donation during this educational event sponsored by Lakeland student Danika Newberry and her Pi Kappa Gamma sorority sisters.

Wednesday, Dec. 7—

  • 12:15 p.m.—Chapel Service—Ley Chapel
  • Christmas at Lakeland—Time and location to be determined
  • 4:30 p.m.—Student Appreciation Dinner—Bossard Hall—Enjoy a free dinner.
  • 6 p.m.—Finals Countdown—John Esch Library—Prepare for finals by participating in study sessions and activities.
  • 8:15 p.m.—Wednesday Worship—Ley Chapel

Thursday, Dec. 8—

  • 11:30 p.m.—LU Student Gov Town Hall Meeting—1862 Lounge—Bring up any concerns or suggestions you may have regarding campus facilities, programs and policies.
  • 12 p.m.—Foundation Meeting: Tentative—Nemschoff Conference Room, 4th Floor WAK
  • 5 p.m.—Yoga—Brotz Hall Multi-Purpose Room—Participate in a weekly class led by Alex Liosatos, campus counselor.
  • 6 p.m.—Finals Countdown—John Esch Library—Prepare for finals by participating in study sessions and activities.

Friday, Dec. 9—

  • EWO: Last day of 14-wk and 7W2 classes
  • Trad: Last day regular classes for 14-wk term
  • 4 p.m.—Badminton Doubles Tournament—Wehr Center Field House—Take part in a badminton tournament for a chance to win a prize.
  • 5 p.m.—December Graduation Celebration—1862 Lounge—Stop by and celebrate the accomplishments of the December graduates.
  • 7 p.m.—Men’s Basketball vs. Silver Lake—Woltzen Gymnasium—Come out to support the men during this home game.
  • 7:30 p.m.—Holiday Band and Choir Concert—Bradley Fine Arts Building—Get in the holiday spirit while listening to students play festive music.

Saturday, Dec. 10—

  • EWO: Christmas Break
  • 2 p.m.—Women’s Basketball vs. Alverno—Woltzen Gymnasium—Cheer on the women as they face a conference opponent.

Sunday, Dec. 11—

  • EWO: Christmas Break
  • 6 p.m.—Chapel Service—Ley Chapel—The service will be followed by a potluck.
