Lakeland University’s Muskie Extravaganza Week will kick off on Monday, April 20, and will go until Saturday, April 25. Here’s a list of exciting events.
- Monday, April 20, the week will start with a Casino Night located in the Campus Center, by the Daily Grind at 7 p.m.
- Tuesday, April 21, a game/karaoke night will be held at the Pub at 8:30 p.m.; also, a duck scavenger hunt will start this day and continue throughout the week.
- Wednesday, April 22, there will be a women’s flag football game on Taylor Field at 7 p.m.
- Thursday, April 23, the Blue and Gold Awards will be presented at the Campus Center Event Space. Cocktail hours will be at 6 p.m., while the ceremony will be at 7 p.m.
- Friday, April 24, will hold a series of events that will start at 6:30 p.m. These events will include a pep rally/volleyball game at 6:30 p.m., tug-of-war and a half-court shot challenge, with a chance to pie someone if made. There will also be a dodgeball game between faculty/staff and students, along with a hot dogs, wings, and/or pie eating contest.
- Saturday, April 25, will hold food trucks with a battle of the DJs and extreme fun by the apartments. Food trucks included will be Jamaica Mi Krazy, Joses Taco Truck, and Crispy Egg Roll, Co.; acceptable payments are cash, credit, and muskie money.
Students should attend because Extravaganza Week is all about bringing students on campus together. It’s a great opportunity for students to take a break from academics, enjoy a variety of events, win prizes and build community through fun and friendly competitions.
