The 2022 Wisconsin elections

The 2022 statewide general election for Wisconsin is quickly approaching on Nov. 8. The most critical races include U.S. Senator, Attorney General, Governor and Lieutenant Governor. 

A full list of candidates and their positions can be found on the Wisconsin Elections Commission website. The main candidates for Governor are Tony Evers and (Democrat), Tim Michels (Republican), and finally Joan Ellis Beglinger (Independent). 

The candidates running the race for the U.S. Senator position are Mandela Barnes and Ron Johnson. Barnes represents the Democratic party’s candidate and Ron Johnson is his Republican counterpart.  

The deadline to register to vote is Oct. 19. Visit the My Vote Wisconsin website to locate the appropriate polling location for your address.  

Regarding the 2022 mid-term elections, WEC has launched an educational video series designed to help busy voters get the information they need.  

No matter who you plan on voting for, there are resources available to help. Election days can be a very busy time so if you prefer to mail in your ballot please remember to do so!
