Creative Connections: Submit Your Creative Work to the Oakland Arts Review Today!

Are you an undergraduate student who loves to write or create visual art? If so, consider submitting your work to the Oakland Arts Review by December 1, 2021. Based out of Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan, the Oakland Arts Review is an international undergraduate literary and arts journal now accepting undergraduate submissions for fiction, comics, creative nonfiction, visual art, screenwriting and theatrical arts, and poetry.

According to their website “The Oakland Arts Review (OAR) is dedicated to the publication and advancement of literature written by undergraduate students from across the United States and around the world. We publish fiction, poetry, essays, comics, artwork, and hybrid and experimental works. Because we believe that undergraduate students have much to contribute to the literary world, it is our mission to provide a platform for this generation’s emerging writers and, in so doing, create a journal that is of both high artistic quality and great literary significance to readers from all backgrounds.”

Over the past four years, the Oakland Arts Review has reviewed 5,000 submissions, resulting in 1,926 publications of incredible undergraduate work. If you have a creative project that fits within any categories, be sure to submit now until December 1, 2021.
