If you are intimidated by having beginner level art skills, William Weidner, professor of arts, states, “(Art) is a learnable skill. You can be born with a certain disposition for math, science, etc., and it is exactly the same in art. People may think you have a ‘gift or you don’t have a ‘gift’; however, you develop from where your starting point is”.

If you are a student with a passion for doodling, sketching, creating or anything art related, do not be afraid or intimidated by more experienced students work. Most importantly, don’t let that be the reason you pass up an experimental class or two. After all, it could be the start of something beautiful.
