Director of the Hayssen Academic Resource Center and Disability Coordinator Tony Prestby has announced his resignation from Lakeland University after two years of employment.

In a meeting Prestby had with all tutors on Sept. 28, he stated that his final day will be Oct. 13. He was hired by Argosy University as a disability coordinator. For his new job, he will work from home.

“I will miss the students I have worked with in the tutoring program,” Prestby stated. “They have all worked so hard and made my experience here great.” He also stated that he will miss the staff and faculty that he has worked with.

Associate Dean of Academic Affairs Julia Rodemeier will assist the resource center until a replacement for Prestby is hired. She stated the plan is to keep the tutor program and student help system functioning as it does now.
