ThinkHaus to take place March 24

Would you like to learn about how a creative economy will benefit our community in Sheboygan? Join the community at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center on March 24 at 7 p.m. Amy Horst, deputy director for programming will be leading the discussion in how to build our economy.

Sam Poullette leaves Lakeland

After three years of working as an admissions advisor for the tradition program, Sam Poullette has been hired for the admissions team for the School of Pharmacy at Concordia University. His last day was Friday, March 18.

German high school students seeking hosts

A youth orchestra from Frankenberg, Germany is visiting from Friday, March 25 through April 1 and will need families to host them during their stay.

They will arrive on Friday evening at First Congregational Church, 310 Bluff Ave. Their hosts will take them for the weekend, as well as provide breakfast and dinner over the week. From Monday to Friday, the students should be at First Congregational Church by 7:30 a.m. to attend their activities at the local schools. They should be picked up weekdays between 4:30-5 p.m.

They will perform a final concert at 7 p.m. at First Congregational Church on Thursday, March 31. Beforehand, there will be a potluck for them and their host families. On Friday, April 1, they will leave Sheboygan to go back home.
