This summer, a groundbreaking community initiative led by Sheboygan North student, Anna Adamavich, comes to Sheboygan. Aimed at empowering young girls to embrace their potential and break down barriers, INSPIHER is a summer day camp designed to instill confidence and inspire greatness in girls aged 8-13.
Anna Adamavich, the visionary behind INSPIHER, drew inspiration from a lifelong passion for gender equality. Reflecting on her journey, Anna shared on her website, “I’ve always been passionate about fighting for women’s equality. From a young age, I dreamed big, but as I grew older, I saw the challenges women face. I knew I had to make a change.” Thus, INSPIHER was born with a mission to redefine societal norms and empower the next generation of girls.
Currently, INSIPHER is requesting volunteers who are upbeat and passionate to empower the lives of young girls. Volunteer work involves working with a group of six girls alongside another volunteer. Each group is overseen by an adult counselor. Volunteer roles also include coordinating activities.
While INSPIHER does not currently have a connection with Lakeland, Adamavich believes tapping into the resources of Jake’s: A Lakeland Community could provide invaluable exposure and motivation for college students to engage with the program. If you are passionate about empowering young women, INSIPHER invites you to Camp Y-Koda this summer, a picturesque setting conducive to learning and growth.
As the Sheboygan community gears up for an exciting summer of empowerment and growth, INSIPHER extends their gratitude to all our supporters and volunteers. Together, a brighter future for young girls in the community is possible.
Stay tuned for more updates from INSPIHER!
