A large group of students crowd into a room in East Wehr, eager to begin today’s Yoga class. Many of the students are basketball players because their coach requires them to take the class to reduce injuries and add some diversity to their workout routine. Others in class are there by choice.

The class meets every Thursday at 4:45 p.m. in the East Wehr classroom and is taught by Alex Liosatos, campus counselor, who is a certified yoga instructor. She teaches in a way that makes everyone feel comfortable. The poses are fairly easy, but if you want more of a challenge, she suggests ways to increase the difficulty.

If you’re looking for a fun way to increase your flexibility and strength, it is worth attending.
