Miranda Boswell, Photographer
Miranda Boswell is a sophomore English and Creative Writing student, and her goal is to graduate with dual degrees. She is a photographer and writer for The Mirror. Miranda started learning about photography from her late grandfather, and continues to use his camera, along with the knowledge she gained from him. She enjoys writing about social issues, especially topics around feminism and women’s safety measures. Miranda is inspired by moments of joy and positivity on or around campus. Miranda joined The Mirror because she is thinking of a career in journalism or on a campaign media team for a political figure. That is if becoming a professor of creative writing isn’t where her path leads. She is fueled by Lakeland’s mission statement of leading an ethical and purposeful life. Because of that, Miranda is very active on campus and takes pride in calling herself a Muskie.
