Sam Marchant is a senior at Lakeland University majoring in communication with a minor in sports management graduating in December. She is a writer for The Mirror with a background in sports journalism and is passionate about highlighting Lakeland’s athletics and student-athletes. A softball student-athlete herself, Sam is also known as the “Voice of the Muskies” for her work broadcasting Lakeland sporting events. Outside of academics and writing, she enjoys coaching, spending time outdoors, and continuing to chase dreams on her dreams list. She plans to pursue a career in sports broadcasting and journalism after graduation.
