Warren Buffett focus of Kohler Business Lecture
March 4, 2016
Via a press release from David Gallianetti, director of external relations, the 15th annual Charlotte and Walter Kohler Business Lecture convocation event has been scheduled for Thursday, March 17 at 11 a.m. in the Bradley Theater.
Titled “The Genius of Warren Buffett: The Science of Investing and the Art of Leading,” the lecture will focus on business and investment mogul Warren Buffett, with Robert P. Miles as presenter.
Miles is “an internationally acclaimed keynote presenter, author and distinguished authority on Warren Buffett and his company, Berkshire Hathaway,” according to the press release.
The presentation is expected to cover how Buffett has become one of the most well-known investors and highest regarded chief executives throughout the world, using his talents of memory, math and interpersonal skills to get to such a point. Miles will also discuss why Buffett should be studied by investors.
Miles is particularly qualified to speak on Buffett because “not only [is he] a long-term shareholder of Berkshire Hathaway, he has gotten to know Buffett personally,” said the release.
The author of three books, Miles has created multiple audio and video programs and has been featured on radio and television programs on five continents.
This lecture and Miles’ presence has been made possible through The Charlotte and Walter Kohler Charitable Trust.
