International Night coming soon

Gustavo Zogobi, Staff Reporter

International Night, presented by The Global Student Association, is happening on April 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the Bradley Theatre. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the event and is one of the most important annual events at Lakeland College.

What makes this night special is that it allows everyone the chance to celebrate the many diverse cultures found on campus.

More than 18 nationalities will be represented during this night, providing the opportunity for everyone to learn more about the other cultures, languages, music and dances some may not otherwise have known about.

Having students from so many different parts of the world, International Night is the one night a year where everyone can celebrate together as one nation. Lakeland College is a better place with such diversity, and witnessing such a celebration is proof of that.

All are encouraged to come out to this event. For students, this event is a convocation credit.
