The Lakeland Mirror

Leah Ulatowski
Leah Ulatowski is a senior majoring in writing with minors in criminal justice and English literature. She started working for The Mirror as a freshman and was promoted to copy editor after only two months. In addition to her work as an editor, she continued to serve as a staff reporter and columnist. Now the editor-in-chief, she strives to equip students with marketable media skills and to continue growing the newspaper’s audience and staff. Over the summer of 2015, she served as a temporary general assignment reporter for the Fond du Lac Reporter newspaper. In her free time, she enjoys attending poetry readings, spending time with her five siblings and parents, singing in women’s choir, advocating for disability rights, and playing with her cat-daughter, Jane Eyre. After graduation, she hopes to continue working in media
